Harold was a signalman onboard the USS Sphinx (ARL-24) in 1969. If I recall correctly the Sphinx was a part of MRB Bravo and was based a lot around the intersection of the Soi Rap and Vam Co rivers. Harold and Don Blankenship were college buddies before Vietnam and volunteered about the same time.
